The aim of this concept is to bring joy to those visitors who may wish to learn and experience the history of this area. The design of the building opens onto the harbour and directs attention toward the nearby lighthouse. The overall plan is to enliven this area with this knowledge-based centre.

The construction of the wall features wooden panels with openings that provide views to the harbour on the eastern side and to the lighthouse on the western side. The architectural style of the centre embodies motifs which celebrate seafaring and marine technology. The centre also incorporates the influence of local building traditions.

Natural materials such as wood have been integrated into the design elements, visually linking the structure to its natural surroundings, while inviting associations with its energy-saving features and enhancing the centre's eco-friendly position.

The overall building concept contributes significantly to the potential for experiencing the area's local tradition and history, with an emphasis on its proud maritime heritage.
