Plan concept

The idea is to create passive house roof curved towards the open air mesum under which the Museum is located.

There is a terrace on the east side that offers one a panoramic view of the river and the countryside surrounding this Museum. The cafe is located in front of the musuem.

The exhibition space creates a link between the entrance and the river with the views towards the landscape.

 

A maximum of modularity is foreseen for all the working areas on the western side and a double height space of the exhibition space ensures maximum views to the exterior while giving the users bright and generous daylighting.

In the final analysis, this Museum offers the local inhabitants, the staff and the new visitors the opportunity to enjoy the Skogfinsk culture and its history, away from the stresses of the urban lifestyle and which is compatible with the natural surrounding area.
