Design concept
The main focus is to create a simple, cost-effective building that honors the Glomma river skyline and at the same time be environmentally friendly.
The location of this means that it is important that the local inhabitants can enjoy the natural surroundings, and there is an opportunity to manage a new park area here. Overall, you have the ability to gather the National Floating Museum and competence center for wetlands and the natural surroundings.
We can also present this building as a new prototype for future generations and encourage greater environmental awareness in the use of solid wood here.
Much of the success will depend on the integration of this building into its context, and therefore it is important to keep the station heights as low as possible in terms of skyline, especially next to the Glomma river.
