PITZTALER  VIEWING LOOKOUT PLATFORM

The design of the platform follows the principle 'mountain views first, architecture afterwards', taking advantage of the beautiful landscape. The structure reaches out over the rough stony land edges, offering one one of the most spectacular stage scenes in Austria and its platform gives one the heightened illusion of being in the heavens.One can also the glorious glaciers from this vantage point.

The use of the curving ramp is conceived as the build-up, as the ultimate crescendo, leading up to the level Lookout platform, upon which the visitor is then rewarded with this awe- inspiring panoramic scenery. 

The Corten steel balustrade follows the rising edge of the ramp which is supported by concrete construction.
